The village hall is a popular venue for a wide range of community groups and also private functions. It provides excellent facilities to meet any event requirements, having three rooms which may be used independently.
The Main Hall 58’ X 28’ has a stage. It can seat 160 theatre style and 120 for dancing or at tables. There is a serving hatch from the kitchen. The main hall is equipped with a P.A. system including a loop for those with hearing difficulties. (Please request this if you are going to need it.)
There are 2 smaller meeting rooms of equal size 30’ X 15’ with a large connecting door; The Studio and The Wellock Room may be used independently or together. In addition to doors leading from the main corridor, the Studio has an external door, whilst the Wellock Room has a door into the Main Hall.
Kitchen: The kitchen is suitable for providing refreshments. It has a serving hatch opening into the main hall. There is a fridge, water boiler, microwave and cooker. Some crockery is available for general use, e.g. tea and coffee making, more can be made available. It is recommended that you check when booking, especially if you are expecting large numbers.
There are approximately 140 chairs, 23 large tables and 20 smaller ones. It is advisable to check the availability of these in any particular room at the time of your meeting.
